Ellisha

Speaker for the Golden Circlet

Overview

  • Race: Elf
  • Occupation: Community Liaison / Speaker
  • Affiliation: Golden Circlet Colony
  • Region: Osweg
  • Reputation: Earnest, conflicted, quietly brave

Ellisha is an elven woman of the Golden Circlet Colony, known among her people for her willingness to speak with outsiders when others will not. Though not a formal leader, she often serves as the colony’s voice—by necessity rather than ambition.

It was Ellisha’s mistreatment at the hands of the Krakens that first drew the attention of the Sea Spray Survivors to the colony’s plight.

Description

Ellisha is slight of frame and plainly dressed, favoring simple, practical clothing suited to agricultural labor. Her hair is usually tied back and her hands bear the marks of fieldwork rather than combat.

Her eyes are observant and cautious, accustomed to watching for danger long before it arrives. When she speaks, it is measured and careful—but not timid.

She carries herself like someone who has learned that attention can be dangerous.

Personality

Ellisha is thoughtful, principled, and deeply conflicted. She believes in the ideals of her people—peace, restraint, and harmony—but has come to question whether those ideals can survive unchallenged in a hostile world.

She values:

  • Compassion
  • Honesty
  • Community survival

She fears:

  • Being the cause of greater violence
  • Becoming what her people have sworn not to be
  • That silence may already be a form of surrender

Ellisha does not seek heroism.
She seeks endurance.

Role in the Golden Circlet

Ellisha acts as an intermediary between:

  • The colony elders
  • Outsiders and travelers
  • Those who would exploit the colony’s pacifism

Though not empowered to command, she is often the first to recognize threats—and the first to suffer for doing so.

Her willingness to accept help from the Sea Spray Survivors placed her at odds with more conservative voices among the elders.

Relationship to the Sea Spray Survivors

Ellisha owes her life to the Sea Spray Survivors, and her view of the outside world has been irrevocably altered by their intervention.

She is:

  • Grateful, but wary
  • Inspired, but afraid of consequences
  • Torn between relief and guilt

Ellisha believes the survivors acted rightly—but worries that their actions may invite retaliation the colony cannot withstand.

Current Standing

Since the survivors’ departure, Ellisha has taken on a more prominent role within the Golden Circlet, advocating quietly for preparation, awareness, and contingency.

Whether this leads to reform—or fracture—remains uncertain.

What is clear is that Ellisha is no longer content to look away.

Rumors & Whispers

  • Some elders blame Ellisha for drawing attention to the colony
  • Others see her as the colony’s best chance to adapt
  • It is said she has begun keeping records of Krakens activity

If true, such knowledge would be dangerous to possess.
