Trask

Trask was a bugbear warleader who ruled the goblin cell operating beneath Strangeways. Larger and more disciplined than most of his kind, he ruled through fear, brutality, and a keen sense for opportunism rather than strategy.

He occupied an ancient elven tomb, using its stonework and hidden passages to shelter goblins, store plunder, and stage raids against nearby farms—including Grogan Farm.

Role in the Uprising

Trask’s forces were responsible for:

  • The murder of Alec the Farmhand (Dead)

  • The destruction of the Grogan homestead

  • Tomb desecration and theft of elven relics

Though crude, his operation showed signs of outside influence or encouragement—suggesting Trask was not acting entirely on his own initiative.

Death

Trask was slain during the party’s first sanctioned expedition. After a brutal engagement in the tomb’s throne chamber, he was killed by druidic magic wielded by Leda Gebhart.

His death shattered the goblin cell beneath Strangeways—but what he was guarding, waiting for, or answering to remains unknown.
