Description
Silversea is beautiful in a restrained, dangerous way.
The city rises along a broad natural harbor where dark waters reflect the sky like polished steel. Buildings are constructed of pale granite and slate, their roofs steep to shed snow and rain. Silvered stone walkways line the waterfront, worn smooth by centuries of salt wind and boots. At dawn and dusk, the sea truly looks silver—an effect sailors swear is unnatural.
The air smells of brine, whale oil, cold iron, and pine smoke. Markets are loud, but not chaotic. Guards are few and deliberately unobtrusive. Most people are armed. Everyone watches everyone else, politely.
Silversea feels free—until you realize how little disorder actually survives here.
