The Children of Beauty
Synopsis
An ancient, forgotten order that hid a terrible truth beneath faith, grace, and silence.
What People Know
Almost nothing.
The Children of Beauty were a secretive organization that existed quietly in Strangeways for generations. Their sole charge was the protection of a fragment of the Crown of Iron, referred to only as the Petal. It was hidden beneath the Church of the Beauty (Temple), concealed as a sacred reliquary and guarded by obscurity rather than force.
Most members lived ordinary, unremarkable lives. That anonymity was intentional.
